The weather finally gave us a break, folks!

At long last, the sun came out!

It was so bright!

Needed to wear some glasses, I did!

It may not last long, but at least we had one day of brightness, in this time of gloom!

I'm not ashamed to say that I nearly cried today. 

IT'S DONE

This is incredibly rare, two blog posts on the same day!  I don't think I've done this before, and especially not minutes apart.  But this is a special day, indeed.  However I strongly suggest you read my last blog post because it's definitely one of the most interesting things I've had to write about.  Actual substance, not just rambles!  Wow!  Anyway, I have some very important news for you all

Let me start by saying I don't actually hate Christmas.  I just dislike it.  Sort of.  In a way.

Nothin'

You may remember me saying writing runs in the family.  Well, so does writing about nothing, apparently.  My Dad told me that in school he had to do journal entries, and he could somehow write an entire page or two about not having anything to write about.

I think half my blog is pretty much the same way.

So today I'm once again talking about nothing.

Busy as a Bee...A Very Busy Bee!

Unfortunately I have to keep this post quick as I have to leave the house soon, which is why no 'Today's Topics.'

I believe last post or possibly the one before that I said I was busy.  Well I got busier.  So many projects I've put for myself, and so many more that have been put on me by others, which, unfortunately, I have to do.

I'm being worked hard, so when I get some free time I spend a bit too much of it on YouTube instead of doing productive things like keeping this blog somewhat updated.

I plan to do a longer post, maybe later today, but if I don't I just wanted to tell you amazing readers that I haven't forgotten about this place!

Social Networking

 So social networking has taken our world by storm in the last five years or so.  Yes, I know it existed before that, but I'd say it's only become really popular in that time frame.

Anyway, it's changed our world.  A lot.   At first it made it easier to commune with friends.  That's probably all anyone had planned, back then.  But social networking slowly started integrating into our lives, changing even more.

Well I was planning on doing another meaningful post about current issues, but I figured "Meh, nah."  So I'm just going to say stuff about me, instead.  Naturally.

Words of Wisdom

I'm still debating within my head what to blog about next, but in the mean time, I have something to share.  I was browsing the World of Warcraft forums, and I found this post.  If only the world was like this, it would be so much of a better place.



"There's many things I'd like to respond to in this thread... but instead of joining the fray, I'm going to post a brief, subjective though-belch as a kind of a pallatte-cleanser (I hope).

I find that in current political discourse, we do not debate what our ideals are and what values we aspire to uphold as a society, a nation or a planet. Instead, we split ourselves into convenient, binary oppositions and demonize the "other side", arguing that "they" conspire to dominate us, and that by eliminating their ideas we will, essentially, fix everything that is wrong.

In this sense, WoW often seems to me to be a striking analog of our real life situation, just with a much more interesting backdrop of dragons & magic & stuff.
